After deciding on your kitchen cabinets, you have to choose from a vast array of kitchen cabinet knobs and pulls.  Take your time, because it is the final touch to your kitchen project and will make the difference on how your cabinets look and ultimately your kitchen.  The right kitchen cabinet hardware will make your cabinets accentuate with beauty but it should be functional as well.

Depending on your style of kitchen, choose the knobs and pulls that are themed for that particular style.  Don’t put sports knobs and pulls in your kitchen if the theme is Victorian for example. Choosing round as opposed to straight of curved is a personal choice.  You might want to test out a few of them before deciding to make sure that they are comfortable to grasp with no jagged edges.

Round smooth knobs are always a favorite because they are easy to grasp and are typically made from glass or lucite or some form of hard plastic like material.  Some are transparent others solid.  There are chrome finished cabinet knobs, pewter, brass, copper, leather wrapped, stone and the list goes on and on.

All major hardware stores carry a really good selection of cabinet hardware, as well as custom cabinet manufacturers.  They are all displayed for you to see and design planners will typically advise on which way to go.  Their experience and knowledge goes a long way.

So if you’re confused as to which kitchen cabinet hardware you should go with, consult the design center.  They would be more than happy to help you with this decision.
